1.3 Definitions and Statements of Compliance with respect to the Website

“Personal Information” means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person; an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person, including your personal details such as your name, email address, company name, address, phone number, and other information about yourself.

“Sensitive Information” means credit or debit card numbers, personal financial account information, Social Security numbers, passport numbers, driver’s license numbers or similar personal identifiers, physical or mental health condition or information, or other sensitive employment, financial or health information.

“Navigational Information” means non-Personal Information, including IP addresses, collected by iasset.com through commonly-used information-gathering tools such as cookies, clear gifs, log files, and analytical tools to track certain user information solely to administer the Website and analyze data for trends and statistics on an aggregated basis.

In addition to and without limitation of any other terms herein, iasset.com will operate the Websites, including the collection and storage of Personal Information and Sensitive Information, in compliance with all applicable data privacy and data security laws and regulations, including all applicable laws and regulations concerning personal data submitted to, collected by, used by, stored on, and/or hosted on the Websites, which include the EU General Data Protection Legislation effective as of May 25, 2018, the European Directive 2009/136/EC, and any and all other applicable and/or successor data privacy/security legislation in any state, federal, or foreign country or other jurisdiction in which the Website is hosted and/or operates, including data collection, data processing, and email activities.

2. Information Collected, Processed and Stored on the Website

2.1 When you visit our Websites

You are free to explore the Websites to learn more about Channel Collective without providing any Personal Information. When you register for one of our Website resources, you will provide Personal Information and we will collect Navigational Information as well. In order to better serve you, Channel Collective will determine whether you have subscribed to any Channel Collective online information, submitted an inquiry to Channel Collective, whether online or over the phone, or otherwise communicated with Channel Collective.

2.2 Collection of Information by Channel Collective

Expressly subject to and in accordance with this Privacy Policy, iasset.com collects and stores information collected through the Channel Collective Website, which may include Personal Information and Sensitive Information.

2.3 How we use Information we Collect

We use the information we collect in strict compliance with this Privacy Policy in addition to any data privacy and protection requirements set forth in our customer agreements. Channel Collective shares user information, including Personal Information, with its Providers solely to enable those Providers to provide the Websites and related services on Channel Collective’s behalf.

In addition to the uses identified elsewhere in this Privacy Policy, we may use your Personal Information to: (a) improve your browsing experience by personalizing the Websites; (b) send information to you which we think may be of interest to you by post, email, or other means; (c) send you marketing communications relating to our business or the businesses of carefully-selected third parties which we think may be of interest to you, and (d) provide other companies with anonymized statistical information about our users in the aggregate.

If iasset.com receives a request to remove your Personal Information from any Website and/or to stop contacting you via any Website, we will respond within a reasonable timeframe and, in all cases, in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

 

3. Children under the Age of Thirteen should not Provide any Personal Information on the Website

The Website is not intended for or targeted at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly or intentionally collect information about children under 13 and we will not retain any such information if iasset.com becomes aware of such user’s age. 4. Customer Testimonials and Comments

We post customer or user testimonials and comments on our Websites, which may contain Personal Information. We obtain consent via email prior to posting any customer’s or user’s name and testimonial.

Subject to the terms herein, iasset.com employs industry-standard administrative, technical, organizational and physical measures in compliance with applicable laws and regulations to protect the security of its user information and to protect against unauthorized access thereto or unauthorized use or disclosure thereof.  However, no Internet or email transmission is ever fully secure or error-free and iasset.com makes no warranty and assumes no liability for any such transmission or any damages incurred in connection therewith.  Subject to and in accordance with the other terms herein concerning Sensitive Information, when Sensitive Information (such as credit card numbers and/or geo-location data) is collected on our Websites and/or transmitted to our Providers, it will be protected through the use of encryption such as the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol. 6. Public Forums

We may offer publicly-accessible message boards, blogs, and community forums. However, we will correct or delete any information you have posted on the Websites if you so request as described in “Opting Out and Unsubscribing” below.

 

7. Retention of Personal Information

Subject to and in accordance with this Section 7, we retain Personal Information that you provide as long as necessary to contact you about the Website, and/or our other services and to (a) comply with our legal obligations, (b) resolve disputes and (c) enforce our customer agreements. Thereafter, we will promptly and securely delete your Personal Information; provided that we will delete your Personal Information at any time on your request as described in “Opting Out and Unsubscribing” below.

 

8. Miscellaneous

To facilitate our global operations, we may transfer and access Personal Information around the world, expressly subject to and in accordance with this Privacy Policy, our end customer agreements, and applicable law.

If we (or our assets) are acquired by another company, whether by merger, acquisition, bankruptcy or otherwise, that company would receive all information gathered by iasset.com on the Website. We reserve the right to use or disclose your Personal Information if required by law or if we reasonably believe that use or disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or comply with a law, court order, or legal process.

 

9. Navigational Information, No Tracking

As noted in Section 1.3 above, iasset.com collects non-personally-identifiable information, including IP addresses, through commonly-used information-gathering tools such as cookies and analytical tools to offer and manage its Website and to improve its users’ experiences thereon; provided that aggregated information will not be linked in any way to Personal Information. (Please note that, if an individual disables his or her Web browser’s ability to accept cookies, that individual can navigate the Website but may not be able to successfully use all the features and functions thereon.)

iasset.com does not currently permit any third party to access and use the Website to track any user’s logins and movements, including to and from the Website, or to collect any user’s Personal Information.  If, at any point, iasset.com elects to use any of its users’ Personal Information in a manner other than as stated in this Privacy Policy, iasset.com will update this Policy, use all commercially reasonable efforts to provide each user with the opportunity to opt out of iasset.com’s modified use of his/her information at that time, and comply with all applicable laws, including any statutory obligation to obtain a user’s consent to use of his/her Personal Information.

 

10. Opting out and Unsubscribing; Reviewing, Correcting and Removing your Personal Information

Upon request, Channel Collective will notify you if we hold any of your Personal Information. If you provide us with your Personal Information, you have the following rights with respect to that Information:

To request that your Personal Information not be used to contact you
To request that your Personal user information be removed from any solicitation list that we use

Our customers are solely responsible for their own marketing emails and other communications and therefore we cannot unsubscribe you from their communications. You can unsubscribe from our customers’ marketing communications by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link located on the bottom of their emails or by contacting them directly.

 

11. Anti-spam Policy

Our Acceptable Use Policy, prohibits use of the Website to send unsolicited commercial email in violation of applicable laws and requires the inclusion in every email sent using the Website of an “opt-out” mechanism and other required information.
